Opal was left by her previous owners at a local shelter, heartworm positive and sad. She was rescued by Lakeshore PAWS and now after treatment and some extra kisses from her foster mama, she has been blessed with a wonderful second chance at a good life.
Opal is a six-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix. She gets along other dogs, isn't bothered by cats and likes to play with kids. She is extremely affectionate and enjoys playtime, but she is mostly a mild-mannered girl. This laid back girl spends most of her time lounging on the couch and wants to be your constant companion. She is crate trained and working on her house training.
