In the first round of sectional play, the Lady Indians softball team beat the Michigan City Wolves 10-0. The team had 11 hits. Kiley Jones threw a 2-hitter and struck out 11 she also had a triple and 2 RBIs. Lauren Murray added 2 hits including a double and 3 RBIs, Alexis Johnson was 2-2 with a double and an RBI. Morgan Eastridge added 2 hits with a double and Haley Hodges added 2 hits and an RBI. The next game will be Thursday at 5:30 at Chesterton- Portage will battle the Crown Point Bulldogs.
