Kidstop Program Announces Power Hour Winners

BGC-Power-Hour-Drew-HowertonKidstop Program announces the November and December winners of the Power Hour program. Both winners were from Kidstop’s Discovery Charter School site. The November winner is Drew Howerton with 302 points. The December winner is Corinne Young with 186 points. Power Hour helps members ages 6-18 achieve academic success by providing homework help, tutoring and high-yield learning activities encouraging members to become self-directed learners. To earn points, children complete homework, read books and participate in other educational activities during daily homework time.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been serving youth for 40 years. The Clubs provide programs for more than 5,000 boys and girls in the areas of character and leadership development, educational enhancement, career preparation, health and life skills, the arts and sports, fitness and recreation.
