Title: Assistant Closing Coordinator
Reports to: Closing Coordinator / Accounting Manager
Job Location: 3408 ENTERPRISE AVENUE - VALPARAISO, IN
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the closing coordinator with daily tasks and clerical duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist with closing/assessment letters
- Transition owners within management software program
- Prepare assessment letters
- Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, etc.
- Process closing checks
- Provide polite and professional communication with title companies
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Operate standard office equipment including multi-line telephone system, copier/printer/fax machine, postage machine, computer, and calculator
- Perform duties for accounting department – such as filing, correspondence, data entry, and delivering bank deposits
- Answer/return phone calls, take accurate messages, and transfer calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner
- Use personal vehicle to perform company business when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Education or Equivalent

- Computer literacy – basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
