IU Northwest to host College GO! Week activities Sept. 21-26

Meet with an admissions counselor, get financial advice, tour campus and more.

In honor of College GO! Week, Indiana University Northwest will host a series of Zoom and on-campus events that begin Monday, Sept. 21 and culminate on Saturday, Sept. 26 with an on-campus tour.

Students will have a chance to meet with an admissions counselor and learn about selected topics throughout the week, including:

  • Adjusting to a New Era
    • In this era of COVID-19, how has IU Northwest adjusted to assist students with the admissions process? What does the future look like?
  • Calculating the True Cost
    • Understand how much it costs to attend school and explore scholarship opportunities to help with covering expenses.
  • Diploma vs. Degree
    • What is best for me? Choose the career path which is right for you.
  • College Bound
    • Let’s get back to the basics. Understand and explore the different types of colleges.

IU Northwest is waiving application fees for high school students throughout September. Plus, students can earn scholarship dollars for attending the sessions through the Raise Me program, an incentive program that awards financial assistance for high school activities like this one. Students can earn up to $500 for participating. Learn more about the program and sign up at iun.edu/raiseme.

College Go! The week is an annual statewide initiative of Learn More Indiana to promote the enrollment of high school students to post-secondary institutions.

Registration for the virtual events and tour is required at iun.edu/adm-events.
