The Indiana University Northwest School of Business and Economics is now accepting applications for the weekend MBA program for professionals, slated to begin in January 2023. The program will be offered at the Northern Indiana Education Foundation, located at 402 Franklin Street in Michigan City. An informational session will be held at the Foundation on November 10th from 6pm until 7pm.

The Weekend MBA program, voted Best MBA of Northwest Indiana Business again in 2022, will launch its third cohort in 2023. Designed for busy professionals, the 18-month program offers the most sought-after skills for executives and managers including leadership, teamwork, executive coaching, and Lean Six Sigma Certification. Classes meet every other Saturday, allowing participants to manage their time between multiple commitments such as work, life, school and family without sacrificing the richness of an in-class collaborative experience. The program concludes with an international business experience.

Gain a competitive edge for career advancement

A business degree from Indiana University Northwest is a respected accomplishment, with its endorsement by AACSB-International, the organization that awards the highest level of accreditation for business schools worldwide. Part of what gives the degree its prestige are value-added opportunities such as international travel, professional certifications, and team-based experiential learning.

“We are delighted that we can offer this prestigious program to our colleagues in the Michigan City area. Our faculty are experts in their field who are committed to the success of our students,” said Dean Cynthia Roberts. “We routinely hear feedback from our graduates that the MBA program has changed their lives. The connections made in the program continue well after graduation and we are fortunate to have a very active, committed alumni group.”

About the School of Business and Economics

The region’s longest-running AASCB-accredited public business school, the School of Business and Economics initially earned this certification in 2004. AACSB Accreditation is widely regarded as the highest level of accreditation for business schools. Only 15 percent of business schools domestically and less than 5 percent of business schools internationally earn this prestigious certification of quality. Because of its AACSB International accreditation, the School offers its high achieving students membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Business Honor Society.
