During May, in partnership with Best Friends, the ICS will be hosting a Back in Black adoption event. We have many beautiful black cats and kittens available for adoption for only $45 and a companion, of any color, for only $25. This promotion is dedicated to increasing the awareness and adoptions of black cats (and dogs). Although they are every bit as adorable and sweet and any other animals, pets in black often wait so much longer for homes than their lighter colored pals.
That is why Best Friends created this event and why we are so happy to participate in it, to help shine the spotlight on these often overlooked pets and help them to find good homes. So stop and visit our shelter located at the corner of Route 6 and County Line Road in Westville, Indiana and meet some of these wonderful black beauties and help us to help them.
