Campus Life announces the inaugural Food Truck 5K and Family Fun Walk to be held Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Sunset Hill County Park. Registration will begin at 3:30pm followed by a 4:30pm start time. All participants will receive a commemorative event T-shirt and vouchers to be used at the various food vendors. Trophies will be awarded for male & female categories of: under 12, 13-19, 20-30, 31-45, and 46+. Timing will be provided by T&H Timing, and online registration is available at www.thtiming.com under “Food Truck 5K”. Registration is $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the event.
Campus Life is a core ministry of Youth for Christ that combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage high school and middle school students as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. There are active groups now serving Chesterton HS, Hebron HS, Lake Central HS, La Porte HS and MS, Portage HS, and Valparaiso HS and MS.
