Ideas in Motion Media has announced a new media partnership with the La Porte County Family YMCA that will see the two organizations work together on a number of positive, community-focused initiatives for the La Porte County community in the coming year through the LaPorteCountyLife online good news network.
The partnership will feature an advancement in showcasing the many positive activities, events, and programs provided by the La Porte County YMCA through articles, videos, events, and photos on LaPorteCountyLife’s website, social networks, email newsletters, and event listings.
“All. Together. Better. This is not an advertising slogan, but a core belief at the heart of the La Porte County Family YMCA. As the Y puts Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all, we look to share the impact of our mission with outlets that strive to focus on the positive," said Dave Kasarda, Director of Operations of the La Porte County YMCA. "I had previously worked with Chris Mahlmann during my time as CEO of the Portage Township YMCA and was mesmerized by how he and his staff perfectly captured all of the wonderful things the Y was doing for the community. When the opportunity arose for the La Porte County YMCA and LaPorteCountyLife.com to collaborate, it just felt like a natural fit. We build relationships that further our sense of belonging and purpose within the community and LaPorteCountyLife.com is the perfect organization to help us make that happen."
The La Porte County Family YMCA’s members can learn more about everything positive in La Porte County and share their own good news by checking out the website, downloading the app, liking the Facebook page, or following LaPorteCountyLife on Twitter, Google+, and Linkedin.
“From the minute we launched LaPorteCountyLife.com the team at the La Porte YMCA has welcomed, engaged, and appreciated what our good news mission is,” explained Ideas in Motion Media Publisher and owner Chris Mahlmann. “The La Porte County Family YMCA is such a positive force in La Porte County and we’re very proud to be working with their entire team on every level to connect the community in an impactful way.”
