Horizon Bank is pleased to announce the recent grant award to the Purdue University Northwest Sinai Forum in Westville, Indiana.
The grant, in the amount of $5,000, was presented on January 25, 2019 by Jim Neff, President of Horizon Bank to Leslie Plesac, Executive Director of the Sinai Forum. Funds will be used to support the Forum’s mission, which is to enrich the quality of life in Northwest Indiana by featuring speakers who can engage our community in conversations about today’s important issues in a town hall format.
“Horizon Bank has been a program sponsor of the Sinai Forum for over a decade because of their exemplary program. The Forum attracts powerful, accomplished and respected speakers from different backgrounds that educate and inform our local community on a range of topics, including politics, health, education and art,” stated Neff.
Plesac said of the grant, “We are most grateful for the continued partnership with community leader, Horizon Bank. The Purdue Northwest Sinai Forum and Horizon Bank support opportunities to learn, educate and inspire our citizens and our communities to be the very best we can be.”
