Holly Taylor Earns CMC Designation

Holly Taylor, Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Valparaiso, has earned the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Inc. “We congratulate Holly Taylor on this advanced designation. The City of Valparaiso is fortunate to have a professional with Taylor’s expertise and commitment to continued education,” said Valparaiso Mayor Jon Costas. 

IIMC grants the CMC designation only to municipal clerks who complete demanding education requirements and have a record of significant contributions to their local government, community and state. The International Institute of Municipal Clerks, founded in 1947, has 14,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, and 15 other countries, sharing a mission to enhance the educational opportunities and professional development of its diverse membership. 

Taylor also holds the IAMC designation as an Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk, awarded by the Indiana League of Municipal Clerks & Treasurers. Taylor joined the City of Valparaiso as a Deputy Clerk Treasurer in 2012 and was elected as Clerk-Treasurer in 2019. She is a graduate of Purdue University.
