This annual event is co-sponsored by Portage Tri Kappa Sorority. Hot dogs, dessert and beverages will be provided. Tickets will be available at Woodland Park in advance or at the door. Adults are free and may purchase lunch.

This hayride adventure is the perfect way to get you and yours in the spirit of Halloween. Learn the factualy history of Porter County & enjoy the old fashioned experience of ghostly storytelling. Patrons encouraged to bring a camera.

Cost: $3 per person. Children under 4 are free.
Haunted Hayride Scenes Wanted!!!
October 28, 29 & 30th

Do you like to decorate for Halloween or even scare people? Gather your friends, family or club and construct a Halloween scene for our Haunted Hayrides.
Here's all you have to do! Create and draw a scene on a 8 1/2"x11" paper and submit your drawing to the Park Office.
Please remember this is a family oriented event, please nothing too gory!! You must have at least 3 people in your scene and one of which is over the age of 18 years.
You'll earn $150 for participating and additional awards will be awarded to top scenes!

Haunted Hayride

The annual Haunted Hayrides have been a community favorite in Portage. Take a ride around Woodland park and prepare to be scared! Great fun for the entire family.

Halloween Magic Show

Bring your family & friends to the greatest magic show on earth! There are a lot of fun tricks in this show for all ages. Don't be scared...it's only magic!
