Porter Regional Hospital is proud to be hosting their second annual Healthy Hustle 5k on June 1, 2013. The race takes place at Sunset Hill Farm County Park (775 Meridian Road Valparaiso, IN) at 8am.
Cost for the 5k run is $20 per runner or $25 on the day of the race. For the non-competitive 5k walk $20 per walker or $25 per walker on the day of the race. Short sleeve T-shirts will be guaranteed to registrations received on or before May 30, 2013. Registrations received after May 20, 2013 will be considered late and returned to sender for race day registration use.
Registration begins at 7am on race day and the run will begin at 8am with the walk beginning at 8:01am. There will be a water station available at the half-way point (1.5 miles) of the course and port-a-potties will be available as well.
Awards will be given to the top 5k run finishers in each age category as well as overall male and female awards. Proceeds from the event go to benefit Lakeshore PAWS.
