FREE computer classes are being offered at the Portage Library in partnership with CHASCAR LLC. Dominic Pedroza, with CHASCAR, will be teaching basic courses covering topics such as Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, and the Internet.
March 24: Introduction to the Internet. Learn the basics of the Internet, email, searching the Internet, social networks and more.
March 31: Basic Microsoft Word 2010. Learn the basics of Microsoft Word 2010, navigating formatting options, creating and saving documents and more.
Classes are co-sponsored by local businesses Current Technologies Computer Learning Center and Portage Insurance. Both co-sponsors will be providing special offers to those who attend classes taught by CHASCAR at the library.
