Gardening and Financial Classes Presented by Purdue Extension

Purdue-ExtensionLyndsay Ploehn, Purdue Extension Associate, Agriculture and Natural Resources will present “Vegetable Container Gardening” at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Porter County Expo Center, 215 E. Division Road, Valparaiso, IN. This program will show you the many options container gardening has to offer. It will cover how to select seeds, how to select the right container and the presenter will also demonstrate her own container garden.

Following this program, you are invited to attend “Take Charge of Your Future” at 11:00 am presented by Steven Reuter, CLU, ChFC – Financial Advisor. The following areas covered will be: What is long-term care (LTC); What impact it has on today’s families; What are the LTC options (government programs, family, self-insure, insurance); What are the benefits of LTC insurance; When is the right time to buy LTC insurance, and How do you evaluate LTC insurance providers.
