Spring is here and that has most of us very happy. The Chamber is looking forward to a very sunny spring thanks to the tremendous responses we are receiving for spring events.
Out music in the Park Series will be our best ever thanks to the outpouring of sponsor dollars which will allow us to go after even more top notch entertainment.
Our PCNB Event in April has all the ear markings of the biggest one yet, with booths going fast and sponsorships continuing to come in. Don’t forget that the committee has done a great job of informing the community that this event is for them. Plans are in place to handle twice as many Portage citizens at the year’s event.
Our Golf Outing Committee has met twice and will have our new members-only directory and community profile in our citizens’ hands by the first of July. The exciting thing about this publication that it truly is the finest Chamber directory put out in Northwest Indiana and the community profile receives accolades from visitors to our city on a regular basis. The ad sales for this event are going great with everyone who has been contacted so far from last years supporters saying yes gain this year.
The cost of producing these two fine pieces with the numbers printed is expensive but well worth the cost with the visibility our members and thus our chamber receives. Hopefully this will be the year that a few new ads are taken by other chamber members to guarantee we can print the amount the community uses every year.
