Hello Willowcreek Family. This is Ms Stewart and here is the Friday Focus message for this week. There are 12 items of interest to follow.

1. There will be no school on Monday, May 31 in celebration of Memorial Day.
2. All textbooks and library books are now due back at school. In order to not be issued a debt slip, please be sure your child has returned all materials.
3. On Tuesday, June 1, the 8th grade orchestra will be having their farewell concert in the cafeteria at 7:00. Also on Tuesday, the art department will be hosting an Art Show from 5:00 to 8:00 in jungle hall. Come and enjoy the creativity of the Willowcreek Students on Tuesday. A voluntary donation for the Cancer Society will be collected at the concert.
4. On Tuesday all students will be given an important note to bring home. This note contains your individual code to access your child’s ISTEP scores online. Please look for this letter from the school.
5. On Wednesday, June 2 we will be having our Mega Party. All students will be invited to attend this activity on the football field during school.
6. On Thursday, June 3 the 8th grade choir will be hosting a farewell performance at 6:30 in the cafeteria.
7. All medications left over in the clinic must be picked up by a parent or guardian no later than Friday, June 4th at the end of the school day. Any meds left in the clinic at that date will be properly disposed of.
8. Students who pre-purchased a yearbook were given theirs today. If you did not purchase a yearbook through the advanced order method, a limited supply will be available for $40.00 on a first come, first serve basis beginning Wednesday, June 2. Checks can be made out to Willowcreek School.
9. Boys and Girls Club is still closed until June 4 for cleaning and repair. Students will not be able to go there after school. Please be sure you have communicated to your child to go straight home after school.
10. Student athletic physicals will be offered at a greatly reduced cost on June 2nd and 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 at the PHSE gym. These physicals will cost $20.00 and will cover your child for any athletic activity during the 2010-11 school year.
11. Our lost and found pile is huge! Please instruct your child to look for lost items or feel free to come to Willowcreek yourself. Any items remaining in lost and found at the end of the year will be donated to charity.
12. Friday, June 4 is our last day of school for the 2009-10 school year. It has been a pleasure working with you and your child this year.
