Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point: 2015 Safe Kids Day Full of Fun

The program also was done in conjunction with Safe Kids Day Northwest Indiana and the Crown Point Community Foundation. Besides the bicycle trick shows, it offered numerous activities and demonstrations, including a fire safety simulator offered by the Lowell Fire Department; sports safety awareness, presented by the Franciscan St. Anthony Health Sports Medicine Institute; water safety discussion by the state Department of Natural Resources; child identification cards and DARE information, offered by the Lake County Sheriff’s Department; bicycle safety and helmet fittings; home and car safety and prescription drug safety.
