Join the Portage Youth Commission at the 2012 Cultural Festival on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from noon to 4 pm. This event will be held at Sycamore Hall, located at Woodland Park.
At our second annual Cultural Festival, we will have food, arts and crafts, live performances, and information from other cultures that will simply enlighten you.
Some of the booths that may be an interest are:
- Irish Bagpipes
- Polish Arts and Crafts
- Russian Speaker
- Plus many more!
Live performances featured are a dance from the Civic Dance Center, a dance and mini play from Portage High School's Anime Art Club, a bagpipe performance from the Irish booth owner, and much more!
So please come out and enjoy our event. Stay for a little while or stay the whole time! It's a perfect day to spend a Sunday out with the family or some friends.
This event was created by Zacharie Spurlock and his fellow Portage Youth Commission members. The Portage Youth Commission is an organization of teenagers who want to better the community, and encourage the rest of Portage's youth to do so as well.
