Your Fegely Middle School Dance Camp participants took the floor, Thursday night to entertain a packed house, for the last 8th grade girls basketball game of the regular season. 54 girls participated in the camp, which was held after school Tuesdays and Thursdays for two months. While a handful of students who participated in the camp had some dance experience, most had no previous dance experience. The dance camp was open to any 6th, 7th, and 8th grade student interested in learning basic dance skills and improving their health, flexibility, and fitness.
Many of the girls were nervous about performing in front of their peers, family, and friends; however, they did a wonderful job overcoming their nerves and put on a phenomenal performance. The girls will perform once again, during halftime of The Fegely Staff VS. Student basketball game held at Portage High School. They are coached by Fegely Math Teachers: Kristin Szymczak and Lisa Fralinger. Their coaches were extremely proud of their hard work, determination and dedication.
