Parents of youth ages 5-13 interested in fun and instructional athletic leagues for their children can register for the fall co-ed indoor soccer leagues at Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s South Haven Unit. Players will enjoy equal playing time, develop their skills and make new friends.
Registrations will be accepted at the South Haven Unit (723 Long Run Road, Valparaiso, IN) now through September 27, 2013 between 1:00-8:00 PM Monday through Friday. Early registration is encouraged as divisions do fill quickly.
Co-ed soccer league fees are $30.00 for the 5-7 year old division and $35.00 for the 8-10 year old and 11-13 year old divisions. There are a limited number of available spots for each age division. League fees include a team T-shirt, a players’ soccer clinic and a medal awarded at the end of the season. All players must also have a Club membership. Boys & Girls Club of Porter County offers affordable memberships for $35.00 per year. Financial aid for membership and athletic league fees are available for those who qualify.
Volunteers are needed for coaching positions. Individuals interested in coaching can contact Bryan Krieg, Program Director, at 219-759-2565. Coaches are required to successfully complete a background check and attend an informational meeting on October 2, 2013 at 5:30 PM at the South Haven Unit.
