Exhibitors Sought for 2015 Earth Day

2015-Earth-Day-01The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County is accepting online registrations for exhibitors to participate in the 2015 Northwest Indiana Earth Day 10th Anniversary Celebration on April 18.

The largest free public environmental event in Northwest Indiana, the Earth Day Celebration draws visitors who are concerned about the environment and interested in learning more about how they can reduce their impact on the planet.

Organizations and businesses from around Chicagoland and beyond that can provide environmental awareness, services and products to attendees and inspire visitors to become more environmentally-conscious are invited to participate.

More information and online registration is available on the district’s website, www.ItMeansTheWorld.org.

Held in three buildings at the Porter County Expo Center in Valparaiso, the Northwest Indiana Earth Day Celebration attracted more than 3,200 attendees in 2013, the largest attendance in the event’s nine-year history. Early registrants will enjoy the maximum advertising benefits of the event.

2015-Earth-Day-02“Every year, our goal is to make this event better and attract more people who can take away something that they have learned to help the environment,” said Therese Davis, district executive director.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to set up on Friday, April 17 and have the options of expanding their booths, connecting to electricity and advertising themselves on the bingo card given to all attendees.

The district also seeks Earth Day event sponsors. For more information, call Therese, 219-465-3815.
