Enterprising Plant Sale for the Duneland Boys and Girls Club

Duneland-BGC-Plant-SaleMembers of the Duneland Boys & Girls Club Youth Enterprise group will be hosting a Spring Plant Sale from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd outside the Hopkin’s Ace Hardware located at 325 S. Calumet Road in Chesterton.

With the help of Joel Sutlin, owner of Pioneer Products and Mark and Michelle Hopkins, owners of Hopkin’s Ace Hardware, youth enterprise members will be selling a variety of hostas, saw grass and resurrection plants (commonly referred to as a St. Mary’s flower) in an effort to raise money for the Duneland Club, located inside the First United Methodist Church at 135 Lincoln Avenue in Chesterton.

The Boys & Girls Club of Porter County provides children ages 5 to 18 with quality programming as well as a full range of daily after school activities including homework help, games and enrichment activities that focuses on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County offers an affordable annual membership of $25.00 ($20 at the Duneland Club) with Club sites located in Valparaiso, South Haven, Portage and Chesterton.
