Duneland Unit to Hold Plant Sale On Saturday, April 14

BGC-Duneland-Plant-SaleMembers of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-Duneland Unit Youth Enterprise group will hold their annual Spring Plant Sale from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 outside the Hopkin’s Ace Hardware located at 325 S. Calumet Road in Chesterton.

With the help of Joel Sutlin, owner of Signature Products, and Mark and Michelle Hopkins, owners of Hopkin’s Ace Hardware, Youth Enterprise members will be selling a variety of hostas, daylilies and other plants in an effort to raise money for a community garden and a summer camping trip.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-Duneland Unit is located inside the First United Methodist Church at 135 Lincoln Avenue in Chesterton. Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been serving youth for 40 years. The Clubs provide programs for nearly 5,000 boys and girls in the areas of character and leadership development, educational enhancement, career preparation, health and life skills, the arts and sports, fitness and recreation.
