Hammond, Ind. (February 20, 2020) –Cruisin’ Through the Times car exhibit will open at the Indiana Welcome Center, in Hammond on February 22 and run through April 28.
The exhibit, sponsored by The Times Media Company, features a colorful display of antique and classic cars, each paired with The Times’ region headlines from the year the car was manufactured.
Cars will range from classics like a 1916 Cornhusker Truck and a 1923 Model T to classics like the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. A 1956 Hudson Hornet will also be on display – one of only 225 ever made. Car enthusiasts will enjoy seeing an up-close look at these collector cars.
There will be an opening reception on February 27 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Attendees can enjoy viewing the classic and antique cars and mingle with car owners.
