Over the past year, the Portage Community Garden was able to raise 4116 lbs of fresh organic vegetables, which was donated to homeless shelters, the Salvation Army, food banks, and needy families in the area.
On January 19th, from 3 pm to 7 pm, the group will host the 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser at Real Life Community Church along with co-sponsor Fazoli's. The dinner features your choice of spaghetti or fettuccine alfredo, breadsticks, salad, dessert, and a beverage at $10 for adults, $5 for children ($1 more at the door).
