Tuesday night the boys track team defeated Michigan City by a score of 84-48 and defeated LaPorte by a score of 67-65. First place finishers included: Danny Mills in the 110 meter hurdles, Tyler McCann in shot put, Taylor Sebben in the 200 and the 300 m hurdles, and the 4x800 relay team of Nick Heimberg, Mauricio Martinez, Jake Thielbar, and Tommy Martin. Other high finishers included Jared Nieves, who was second in the 100 and 200 and David Clegg who was second in high jump and the 400.
Your Freshman Baseball Indians got a big win over Boone Grove, 18-0. The Indians got off to a fast start and didn't stop. Shayne Devine had 3 hits and 4 RBIs, David Herrod had 4 hits and 4 runs, Alex Constandars had 2 hits and 4 RBIs, and Jacob Tomovic had a great game behind the plate and had 2 hits and 4 runs. Jordan Cousins pitched a strong game and had 5 strikeouts. Emilio Ibarra came in to finish the game and pitched a great inning. The Freshmen Indians travel to Chesterton tomorrow to play against the Trojans.
