City of La Porte residents should get their dancing shoes ready, according to Civic Auditorium & Events Director Brett Binversie.
On Friday, Feb. 18, the La Porte Civic Auditorium will welcome Chicago’s premiere dance band, Libido Funk Circus. With more than 20 years of experience, the band plays hours of fan-favorite dance songs ranging from the early days of rock and roll to the latest pop hits. Binversie said this concert is just what residents need to help bust those winter blues.
“Between the cold temperatures and last week’s snowstorm, it’s fair to say that many of us are experiencing a bit of cabin fever,” Binversie said. “We know people are ready to get out of the house, and we hope residents will take advantage of this opportunity to dance the night away with Chicago’s most entertaining and talented dance band.”
Tickets for the show start at $15 for general admission balcony seating. Tables on the floor and sponsor tables are also available.
