Chesterton Women’s Club has been a long-time friend of Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s Duneland Club located in Chesterton. Recently, this social service group provided, once again, their strong support of young people by presenting Duneland Club Director, Joe Juarez, with a $500 gift.
“We are so grateful for this tremendous gift,” states Joe Juarez, Duneland club director. “The Chesterton Women’s Club has a vested interest in the young people of our community. They believe in supporting our Club in our efforts to help with the academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles of our Club members. It is because of groups like Chesterton Women’s Club, our kids have access to what they need to succeed.”
Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been serving youth since 1971. The Clubs provide high quality programs for nearly 5,000 boys and girls supporting academic success, good character and citizenship development and healthy lifestyles.
