Chair’ish the Children Auction Helps Raise Awareness of Child Abuse

Virtual Auction held May 1 – 13, 2021

The annual Chair’ish the Children auction will be hosted online from May 1 – May 13, 2021 and is open to the public.  Visit www.charityauctionstoday.com/auctions/Chairish-The-Children--10218 to bid on 45 chairs designed by students and adults throughout the community. All monies raised benefit the Prevent Child Abuse Lake County (PCALC).

This year’s chair auction includes chairs from local middle school students, high schools as well as adult organizations that work with children.

The one-of-a-kind chairs will be open for bidding for two weeks and proceeds will be used to assist with future child abuse prevention programming. Thousands of dollars have been raised since the annual Chair’ish event began in 2011.

For more information about the event, or about PCALC, visit www.pcalc.org or email the organization at pcalc@hotmail.com. Chairs are currently on display at The Indiana Welcome Center, located at 7770 Corinne Drive in Hammond. Guests are permitted to view the chairs in person during normal business hours. Photographs of the chairs are also included on the auction website.
