Michael E. Schrage, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the opening of a brand-new banking center located at 9728 W. 133rd St. in Cedar Lake on April 29, 2024.
Centier Bank has served the Cedar Lake community with an in-store Strack and Van Til branch for the past 11 years. Schrage said the community has grown so much in the last decade and he wanted to open a new, stand-alone branch with additional space and amenities for clients to bank comfortably.
Centier Bank broke ground on the building site last June. The 1,900 sq.-ft. building is located on the north side of West 133rd Avenue near the Parrish Avenue intersection in the heart of the Cedar Lake community. It will offer convenient drive-up banking lanes, a drive-up EZ Deposit ATM, a free self-service coin machine for clients, as well as the same remarkable service Centier clients value and expect.
“We’re very excited to welcome clients to the new branch, which represents our unwavering commitment to investing in our Indiana communities for an even better tomorrow,” Schrage said. “Centier prides itself on building caring relationships through community banking, and we are looking forward to many continued years serving Cedar Lake.”
The brand-new Cedar Lake branch will be led by Branch Manager, Janelle Spindler, and Assistant Branch Manager, Tiffany Hart, along with universal bankers Alyssa Tieri, Esmeralda Wilkins, and Felicia Rhoda.
“I have been serving Centier’s Cedar Lake clients for over five years, and the caring relationships we’ve built in the community have been truly rewarding,” Spindler commented. “Centier has a strong presence in Cedar Lake--participating in annual parades, farmers markets, and giving back through financial education outreach and philanthropy. We truly care about providing the best banking experiences to our clients.”
In celebration of the branch’s grand opening, Centier’s signature Big Blue Bow will adorn the building for passersby to enjoy. For more information about Centier Bank, go to centier.com.
