Michael E. Schrage, CEO and Chairman of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce Lauren Staten has been promoted to officer of the bank. Staten is the branch manager at the Hobart Strack and Van Til in-store branch.
Staten came to Centier Bank in 2015 and has worked in various banking roles for 12 years. She said the best part of her job is getting to know her clients personally and making them feel welcome every time they walk in.
“Our clients mean the world to me,” Staten explained. “They look to me for guidance, and it is my honor to serve them. The relationships I’ve cultivated here at Centier are so meaningful. Working for a company that truly treats you like family makes it easy to come to work every day.”
Carla Houck, Regional Sales Manager at Centier Bank, said she has enjoyed watching Staten grow in her role and lead with a servant’s heart.
“I want to congratulate Lauren on her continued growth at Centier, because she is so deserving of an officer’s role,” Houck explained. “I know that her dedication to her team and her clients will continue to inspire others at Centier.”
Staten lives in Merrillville with her husband, Lathaniel, and their two children.
