Centier Bank commemorated the grand opening of its brand-new Cedar Lake Branch May 16 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and $500 check presentation to the Hanover Township Trustee Office’s food pantry.
Having served Cedar Lake with an in-store Strack and Van Til branch since 2013, Centier broke ground last June on the new location at 9728 W. 133rd St. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by Centier Bank CEO and Chairman of the Board, Michael E. Schrage, as well as bank President, Chris Campbell. Jeff Bunge, Cedar Lake Town Manager, and Kevin Toth from the Hanover Township Trustee’s office were in attendance along with community members and bank leaders.
“Watching the Cedar Lake community grow over the years has been remarkable, and we’re thrilled to have a branch that can match that growth,” Schrage said. “Being a part of the Cedar Lake community is very special to us, and this new branch symbolizes our investment in the future of Cedar Lake.”
The brand-new Cedar Lake branch is led by Branch Manager, Janelle Spindler, and Assistant Branch Manager, Tiffany Hart, along with universal bankers Alyssa Tieri, Esmeralda Wilkins, and Felicia Rhoda.
The 1,900 sq.-ft. building offers convenient drive-up banking lanes, a drive-up EZ Deposit ATM, a free self-service coin machine for clients, as well as the same remarkable service Centier clients value and expect.
Centier’s new Cedar Lake Branch will be hosting multiple community events this summer, and branch associates will host a booth at the Cedar Lake Farmers Market June 12 and Aug. 28. In celebration of the branch’s grand opening, Centier’s signature Big Blue Bow will adorn the building for passersby to enjoy. For more information about Centier Bank, go to centier.com.
