Michael E. Schrage, Chairman and CEO of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Marcus Mayer as Branch Manager of the bank’s Merrillville branch, located at 8310 Broadway Ave.
Mayer joined Centier Bank in 2020 after working a decade in management, including serving as branch manager at a financial institution. The Purdue University graduate began as a floating branch manager at Centier Bank, getting to know clients across the region, and working with various Centier branch staff.
“My favorite part of working here has been the people. Everyone has been so welcoming and so accommodating, it has really been a great experience. Even after such a short time here, I really feel at home,” Mayer said. “I am passionate about leading a hardworking team and feel very fortunate to work in a community I love.”
