Center for Hospice Care (CHC) is proud to announce Camille Kocsis as the organization’s new Professional Liaison. Camille is succeeding Dan Zelmer who retired after serving the agency for more than 5 years. Camille will be responsible for developing, cultivating and enhancing relationships within the medical community for CHC’s nine county service area.
Camille’s passion for caregiving and helping people can be traced back to the days when she took care of her grandfather after he suffered from a stroke. She felt it was so important to help provide consistent care to make the remainder of his life stress-free. Camille soon implemented this passion for helping people and started working with the vulnerable population in a local assisted living facility. Camille was able to observe first-hand the benefits that hospice provided to patients and families and this made her want to be a part of the mission.
Camille received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration and Management as well as a Minor in Communications from Ferris State University in 2018. She has worked in different health care settings in various roles since June of 2017. Camille completed a Blood Donor Marketing Internship and a Heart Marketing Internship through the South Bend Medical Foundation.
In Camille’s spare time she enjoys playing fetch or going on runs with her dog Chivas Regal, her grandfather’s dog she inherited after he passed. She also enjoys gardening and decorating her home.
