Center for Hospice Care (CHC) is proud to announce Angie Fox, RN, CHPN, as the organization’s new Director of Nursing. Ms. Fox is succeeding Sue Morgan, RN, BS, MS, who retired after serving the agency for more than 5 years.
Ms. Fox will be an integral part of CHC’s leadership team. In part, she will be responsible for ensuring every patient is provided with the highest level of care and that the care meets every patient’s distinctive needs. She will also play a crucial role in guiding the work of those who provide medical care and ensuring that every facet of the Center for Hospice Care’s patient care program is operating at the highest of standards.
With over fifteen years of nursing experience, Angie has spent nearly ten of those years in leadership roles. Prior to Center for Hospice Care, she served as Director of Operations for a national comprehensive, home-based provider where she focused on implementing and defining their care delivery model.
Angie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Indiana University Kokomo in 2018. She obtained her Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification in 2017. Prior to receiving her BS degree from Indiana University, Angie received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Ivy Tech Community College.
Her nursing career took a different direction toward hospice after having had a poor experience with another agency concerning the care of her grandfather. She knew she could be a positive influence and advocate for patients and families at end-of-life.
In her spare time, Angie enjoys time with her family, traveling and being on the lake.
