Center for Creative Solutions Announces “Non-Profit Fund Raising: Securing Your Organization’s Future”

center-for-creative-solutionsThe Center for Creative Solutions today announced its sponsorship of a seminar, "Non-Profit Fund Raising: Securing Your Organization’s Future." The day-long seminar will be held on January 27, 2011, at the Northern Indiana Education Foundation located at 410 Franklin Square in Michigan City.

The day’s topics include: Today’s Funding Environment; Your Vision and Mission; The Board and Volunteers in Funding Advancement; Recruiting Solicitors and Campaign Personnel; Identifying and Evaluating Prospective Donors; Twelve Truisms of Gift Solicitations; The Annual Fund; Sustaining Campaigns; The Capital Campaign; Endowments and Special Need; The Pyramid Charts; How to Solicit Gifts; Exploration, Request and Close; Measuring Potential Feasibility Studies; and Marketing in Fund Raising.

Dr. Paul Bartholomew and Cynthia A. Hedge will be the day’s speakers. Dr. Paul Bartholomew will share nearly 40 years of experience in the world of fund raising in the not-for-profit organizations. As founder and owner of two consulting firms, he has worked with large and small non-profits from all over the world. His clients have included universities, hospitals, social service agencies, religious institutions, and youth groups.

In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Bartholomew served military, retiring as a General. He has served on many non-profit boards, often in leadership positions. Dr. Bartholomew owned and operated Quayle Ridge Farms in Rolling Prairie. The business received regional attention for its innovations.

Cynthia A. Hedge is the founder and CEO of The Center for Creative Solutions. She has worked with many non-profit boards as a board member, attorney and business consultant. In addition to her private law practice, she has developed numerous programs in the criminal justice system and trains for the United States Department of Justice She has a master’s degree in the studies of creativity and change leadership.
