Selena and Sierra Hernandez (Central Elementary 5th Grade Students) represented Central Elementary at the Valparaiso University Martin Luther King art and writing contest.
Sierra won an award for both her sculpture and essay, and Selena won an award for her painting which was printed on the event’s program.
Both girls also won monetary awards for their art work submissions.
