CAD Services and Resources Provider Becomes Tenant at Purdue Research Park

purdue-research-park.jpgMiller Consulting Group Inc., based in Noblesville, Ind., has expanded by becoming a tenant of the Purdue Research Park of Northwest Indiana in AmeriPlex at the Crossroads. The firm was founded in 1999 by Dale Miller.

The company is a specialty provider of computer-aided design services and resources.

"The initial business concept was to provide one skill set -- CAD professionals -- to the market faster and less expensively than traditional technical staffing companies," Miller said. "Business grew quickly as we developed a reputation for stringent hiring requirements, increased technical expertise and exceptional speed in providing resources to our clients."

Miller Consulting Group expanded its scope in 2001 to provide full-service CAD design services.

"By combining both staffing and services, we became better equipped to provide our clients with multiple resources and increased agility," Miller said. "We further expanded in 2008 when we became a licensed reseller for Siemens CAD and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software. Because of this, we can provide all components for a successful and efficient CAD department: skilled technicians, qualified supervision, certified trainers and best-in-class software."

Miller said the company's flexibility in providing a variety of CAD options to clients already has been beneficial.

"We are able to provide à la carte solutions or a completely managed service program," he said. "The concept is new to the industry but already is paying dividends as the market realizes the value that we can provide."

Miller concluded by explaining why he and his colleagues chose to become tenants of the Purdue Research Park of Northwest Indiana.

"We're very proud to be associated with such a top notch organization as Purdue. Their facilities, people and business model are first class," he said. "We think the Northwest Indiana location is the greatest appeal. It is a short drive from Chicago, Indianapolis, Warsaw and Lafayette -- key markets for our company. Meanwhile, the commercial real estate market in Northwest Indiana is completely undervalued, and we intend to use the cost savings as a competitive advantage."
