Busy Weekend for PHS Sports with Football, XC, Soccer Teams All in Action

phs-crowdVarsity football beat the visiting Chesterton Trojans Friday night in front of a packed crowd 45-14.

JV football won 21-6.

The girls cross country team placed 10th in the Elite Division at the Culver Invite on Saturday. Portage’s top finisher was Rebecca Timm. The JV placed 5th and was led by Mariah Blackwell. The team will compete in the Duneland Conference meet on Saturday at Kesling Middle School in LaPorte
