Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County announced that it is hosting its 13th Annual Steak & Burger Dinner on Monday, October 15th at Valparaiso University’s Harre Union. Area businesses, families and individuals are invited to attend this year’s event as they conclude a year-long celebration honoring the 40 years of serving Porter County’s youth.
Silent auction and registration begin at 5:15 p.m. and the main program will begin promptly at 6 p.m. Acclaimed speaker Jim “Basketball” Jones will bring his inspirational and entertaining message about overcoming personal challenges.
Steak & Burger Dinner is an annual fundraising event specially designed to bring caring adult community members and Boys & Girls Club members together for a fun filled evening. Each table is shared by adults and members to offer the unique opportunity for both to share stories and a meal together. At this unique dinner, the Club members are served steaks and everyone else eats burgers.
Porter Regional Hospital is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the 13th Annual Steak & Burger Dinner. Table sponsorship opportunities are still available and range from $200 to $1500. Individual tickets are also available for $100 each.
