Middle school youth in grades 6 through 8 have the opportunity to register for Studio 6’s Winter Session of writing, composing, and producing digital music at Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County’s Valparaiso Club. Studio 6’s Music program is six weeks in length beginning February 9, 2016 until March 17, 2016. The program will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 pm and is $35 per participant. Club membership is needed to register.
Studio 6’s music program, in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County, is a comprehensive program that goes beyond composing and recording music. The curriculum also incorporates and teaches youth six leadership values consisting of Self-Control, Trust, Unity, Diligence, Ingenuity, and Optimism. Each program week corresponds to a different value crucial in influencing daily decision-making.
