Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana Receives Lake Area United Way’s 2018 Partner Agency Award

At Lake Area United Way’s Partner Luncheon Award held at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana was honored by United way with the Agency Partner of the Year Award.

“The Agency Partner of the Year Award honors a nonprofit partner that has gone above and beyond to help Lake Area United Way achieve our community goals. Whether it’s by helping us create opportunities for volunteer projects or helping connect us to community members in need, this organization is always willing to step up and give of their time to help United Way help the community,” states Brandi Adams, senior relationship manager for Lake Area United Way.

The Award was given to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana for partnering continually with United Way, especially with the Real. Strong. Girls. Initiative with Lisa Patrick, chief programs officer for Boys & Girls Clubs, serving on the committee for this program. Additionally, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana was credited for partnering with United Way on the Safety Net Express and for continuing to provide volunteer opportunities for company partners looking to impact their communities through volunteer activities.
