Boys & Girls Club Members Helping St. Baldrick’s Foundation Shave the Way to Conquer Kids Cancer

Emma-Bailey-3rd-Annual-St-BaldricksFor three years, South Haven Club member, Emma Bailey, has helped St. Baldrick’s Foundation in fighting childhood cancer by supporting cancer research efforts. This year, as part of her birthday celebration, Emma is asking guests and other community members to Brave the Shave on May 22, 2015 from 6 to 10 pm.

Individuals can register to have their locks shaved online at stbaldricks.org and search Portage, IN for the Moose Lodge Event. All haircuts will take place at the Portage Moose Lodge located at 3075 County Line Road in Portage, Indiana. People also can donate online at Emma’s funding page at stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/10212/2015 or by calling (888) 899-2253.

This year, there will be a hair shaving challenge between South Haven Boys & Girls Club staff and members to see who can raise the most funds for childhood cancer research. For more information, contact the South Haven Boys & Girls Club at (219) 759-2565.
