Portage Township Trustee Brendan Clancy will open the Bonner Senior Center, 5800 Lexington Ave., Portage as a cooling center from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., beginning Tuesday, July 7. The center will be open to Portage Township residents seeking relief from this week’s projected heat through Friday, July 10.
Residents will be asked to provide an identification. Social distancing and masks will be required while in the center.
Water and Gatorade will be provided.
