Board-certified rheumatologist Dr. Aravind Gopal, MD, MBBS, is now part of Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC and is accepting new patients at his office on the Franciscan Health Olympia Fields campus.
Dr. Gopal is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. He attended medical school at TD Medical College in Alappuzha, India and earned his MD in physiology from Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Gopal completed his rheumatology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
His clinical interests include rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis; osteoarthritis; osteoporosis; lupus and systemic lupus erythematosus; CREST and Sjorgren’s syndrome; scleroderma; gout and pseudogout; dermatomyositis, polymyositis and arteritis; mixed connective tissue and Raynaud’s disease.
