Volunteers from BMO Harris Bank, Muster and Stardust Bowl III, Dyer teamed up to host their 2nd Annual Bowling Fundraiser to benefit Lake Area United Way. Sixty-three local businesses and individuals sponsored lanes and/or donated raffle prizes. The evening’s attendance was over 100. A total of $7,388 was raised for the local organization. Aside from bowling, the evening’s agenda allowed attendees to enjoy, silent auctions, special raffles, line dancing, even a mini massage from a local spa.
“Lake Area United Way makes such an impact in the lives of so many in our communities. We want to do our part to ensure their continued success,” said Lindsay Evorik, Wealth Manager BMO Private Bank, Crown Point. “I was really happy to see the total donation increase by nearly 20% for 2015,” said Rick Cioni, BMO Harris Market President, NWI and LAUW Board Member.
“We wanted to make this year’s event even more unique and successful than last year’s, which I think we accomplished. The evening provided everyone a chance to get out and network, while showing their support and having fun while they’re at it,” said Todd Bredar, vice president of Stardust Bowl and event coordinator. “We’re already looking ahead to planning next year’s event,” he added.
