Amber Nelson has been named the #1StudentNWI Representative for Portage High School by Ideas in Motion Media. Beginning in June, Amber will work for PortageLife.com to cover the good news and people of PHS. Amber was selected for the position based on a recommendation from her journalism adviser, her resume, and samples of her work. Amber said she is looking forward to learning more about journalism through working for a professional publication and building her portfolio of work.
