Presentation will be held on Thursday, November 1st at 6:30p.m. at Rittenhouse Senior Living of Portage. The topics covered will be what is Alzheimer’s versus dementia and how are they alike and how are they different. How are they diagnosed. Different types of Alzheimer’s and different causes of dementia. Discussion about how the brain is affected, the retrogenesis process, and why there are certain characteristic behaviors you will see in these individuals.
Barbara Dzikowski from Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services will give an overview of programs and resources available for family members and caregivers. Handouts and brochures will be available.
