"All About the Girls" returns on May 11th for the 3rd year, bringing together fun and inspiration from some of the strongest women in Northwest Indiana, all built around the theme “You’re Welcome World: Changing the World by Being Yourself.”
This event will again feature strong women from the region telling their inspirational stories. For the second year in a row, we are hosting this event at the amazing Sand Creek Country Club! We sold out last year, with bonds and memories created, and this year promises to be even better!

#AllAboutTheGirlsPart3
The first leading lady for All About The Girls Part 3 is Candace Arvin, the energetic drive many of you know from her work at Jacob's Ladder Pediatric Rehab. Candace is also an active member at the Duneland Chamber of Commerce and Chesterton-Porter Rotary Club.
Melissa Huffman, the fun and passionate leader at Residences at Deer Creek, will be sharing her story at All About the Girls 3, as well. Melissa’s positive approach, along with her ability to lead and inspire women, has made her a strong community presence.
Northwest Indiana Breast Care Center’s manager and leading lady, Jennifer Sanders, will be sharing her calming presence and wisdom that has had a tremendous impact on the Center and we are excited to share her story.
There are some women who combine powerful strength with the soft touch of a Fairy, and one of this years leading ladies Donna Flanagin, of Flanagin’s Bulk Mail Service, does exactly that. Her leadership and perseverance is something to admire.
Stacey Kellogg has been a positive driver and facilitator throughout our Healthcare Community. Many may be familiar with her work at La Porte Hospital and now Porter Regional Hospital, with a passion for communicating and keeping people healthy.
Cathy Brown Brown epitomizes the theme of this year’s event, ‘Changing the World by Being Yourself.’ Owner of Valpo Velvet Ice Cream Shoppe, Cathy’s charm, enthusiasm, selflessness, and dedication to perfection allow her the comfortability to act as herself day in and day out.
Our final leading lady, Marissa McDermott is an attorney, mom, and wife of Thomas McDermott Jr. the Mayor of Hammond. Marissa has recently been elected as a Lake County Circuit Judge, and we look forward to her sharing her perspective on how she handles all of these roles.
Come join these outstanding women from across the region as they share their personal, inspiring stories of how they have embraced who they are, and the impact that a strong, positive mindset can have in your career, family, and community.
